Vidney is operated by Michael Sin, an independent developer (sole proprietor) based in Ohio, United States.

This page is a plain-English summary of the refund policy. The legally binding version is in §5 (Credits & Billing) of our Terms of Service. If anything below conflicts with the Terms, the Terms control.

Paid plans have not yet launched and we are not charging customers as of the Last Updated date above. The terms below describe how refunds will work once paid plans go live; nothing in this Policy obliges you to pay for the Service today. When paid plans launch, all charges will be processed in U.S. dollars (USD) by Creem.com acting as our Merchant of Record.

Automatic refunds — failed generations

If a generation fails — whether the model returned an error, was rejected by the model provider's content policy, timed out, or hit any other technical issue — the credits are automatically restored to your balance. You do not need to file a ticket and you do not need to ask.

Subscription refunds — 14-day, under-20%-used

You can request a full refund of a Subscription Plan charge if both of the following are true:

  1. You request within 14 calendar days of the charge, and
  2. You have used less than 20% of the credits granted by that charge.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days of approval.

Not eligible for refund

  • Credits already consumed by successful generations
  • Requests made more than 14 days after the charge
  • Charges where more than 20% of the included credits have been consumed
  • Credits granted as promotions or signup bonuses (these are non-cash and have no monetary value)

How to cancel a subscription

You can cancel any time from your account, or by emailing support@vidney.ai. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access to your plan and any unused credits until then.

How to request a refund

Email support@vidney.ai from the email address on your account, with:

  • The charge date
  • A one-line reason

We respond within one (1) business day.

Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, please email us first — we will refund anything that's eligible under this policy without argument. Filing a card chargeback for a refundable charge before contacting us is treated as a breach of our Terms (§5.7) and can result in account termination.
