What Animal Do I Look Like? AI Animal Face Test

Upload one selfie. The AI reads your eyes, smile and vibe, names the animal you look like, and draws you as that animal in a 3D animated style, with your hair and outfit.

3 credits per image. New accounts get 10 to 30 free credits depending on country, no card needed.

Which animal do they look like?

Each card started from one photo of a fictional person with the default setting, where the AI picks the animal. The animal, the name and the one-line reason on every card were chosen and written by the AI.

The AI names your animal, then draws it

The AI picks one of sixteen animals from your eye shape, smile, expression, hairstyle and overall vibe, never from skin color, age, weight or body size. Then it draws that animal as an original 3D animated character in your photo: the hair on top keeps your hairstyle and color, your clothes, glasses and earrings stay on, and so does your background. A white name card at the bottom says which animal and why.

Want a specific one? Choose from seventeen animals in the menu instead of letting the AI decide: fox, cat, puppy, bunny, bear, deer, wolf, tanuki, raccoon, squirrel, hamster, otter, owl, lion, tiger, panda or dino. The card then names the animal you chose, with a reason that fits your photo.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free “what animal do I look like” test with a photo?

Yes, right here. New accounts get free credits, enough for a first animal card: upload a selfie above and press Create. After the free credits, one card costs 3 credits, and the price is on the button before you confirm. Credits come with a subscription plan; the cheapest, Starter, is $9 a month. You can also pay once with no subscription: $0.99 for one image or $1.99 for three, and those credits stay valid for 12 months.

How does the AI decide what animal I look like?

It looks at your photo the way a friend would: eye shape, smile, expression, hairstyle and overall vibe. Sharp narrow eyes and a sly smile point to a fox, soft round eyes and a cozy look to a tanuki, a big warm smile to a bear or a puppy. It never decides from skin color, ethnicity, age, weight or body size. It is a playful match, not a measurement: in our tests 9 of 14 people got the same animal on every run, and the rest switched between two close matches, such as wolf and puppy.

Which animals can I get?

When the AI chooses: fox, cat, puppy, bunny, bear, deer, wolf, tanuki, raccoon, squirrel, hamster, otter, owl, lion, tiger or dino. When you pick yourself, panda is on the menu too, seventeen in all. Every animal is an original character design, not a character from any film or show.

Will it still look like me?

It keeps what makes the photo yours: your hairstyle and hair color on top of the animal head, your clothes, glasses and jewelry, your expression and pose, and your background. The face itself becomes an animal face, so it is your animal twin rather than a filter over your face. One person per photo works best.

Can I turn my animal character into a video?

Yes. Save the card and upload it on the AI Pet Dance Generator, linked on this page. In our test the tanuki character danced on its back legs for five seconds in the same sweater and haircut. The name card does not carry over: it blurred away within the first second, so share the card itself for the name. The video is a separate run with its own credit price.

Do I own the image? Is there a watermark?

Yes, the image is yours to use, including commercially, subject to the source model terms. Downloads on the free plan carry a small Vidney watermark; on any paid plan they download clean.
