Vidney Lab
Lab
Tested prompts and reusable skills for the AI image and video models on Vidney. Every entry was re-run here, with its real output and its real cost.
Prompt libraries
One library per model. Every prompt was re-run here, so the output and the cost beside it are the real ones.
How an entry earns its place
Three checks before anything goes on a library page.
01
Sourced and credited
Prompts come from open collections on GitHub and public posts on X. Each entry links the original author and records the license it is used under. Prompts written by Vidney are marked as ours.
02
Re-run on Vidney
Every prompt is run once on the same route our users get, at the settings shown on the card. The output is published as it came out. Prompts that failed are listed too, with what went wrong.
03
Priced in the open
The cost on each card comes from the live price list, not from a copywriter. Each library page sets that cost against the model maker's published API price.
What you get
Real outputs, not mockups
The image next to a prompt is the image that prompt produced here. No retouching, no cherry-picked reruns.
One click to run
Every card opens the right generator with the prompt already filled in. Change one bracket and go.
Free to read and copy
Reading a library and copying a prompt costs nothing and needs no account. Running one costs what the card says.
Honest about limits
Each library ends with the prompts the model could not do and, where one exists, points to a model that can.
Skills
Repeatable recipes that chain several steps into one job: which prompt, which model, which settings, in what order.
Coming soon
Nothing published yet. The first skill shows up here when it has been run end to end, and not before.
What is next
Video prompt libraries are in testing now. Skills follow once the first one has been run end to end.
Questions
What is Vidney Lab?
Lab is the working material behind the models on Vidney: prompt libraries today, skills next. Everything in it was run here before it was published.
Are the prompts free to use?
Reading and copying is free and needs no account. Each entry shows the license it is used under and links the original author; prompts written by Vidney are marked as ours. Running a prompt costs what its card says.
Do I need an API key?
No. Every card opens the Vidney generator with the prompt filled in. Credits cover the generation; there is nothing to configure.
How were the prompts tested?
Each one was run once on the same route our users get, at the settings printed on the card. The output is published as it came out, and prompts that failed are listed with the failure.
Where do the prompts come from?
Open collections on GitHub and public posts on X, plus a few written by Vidney. Sources are named on every card, and we do not publish prompts whose license does not allow it.
What does one image cost?
Each card shows the price in dollars at the Creator annual rate, and each library page sets it against the model maker's published API price. Prices come from the live price list, so they move when the price list does.
What is a skill?
A repeatable recipe that chains several steps into one job: which prompt, which model, which settings, in what order. None is published yet; the first appears here when it has been run end to end.
