Christmas pet photos made from one photo

Each photo started from one fictional pet photo and one pick from the costume menu. The pet keeps its face, eye color, fur and markings, and the room stays the same with warm string lights and a small present added.

Still your pet, dressed for Christmas

The costume goes on like a real soft pet costume, and the face, eyes and nose stay visible. Breed, fur color, coat pattern and markings stay as in your photo, and so does the place: your sofa, windowsill or doormat, with warm string lights and a small wrapped present added.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I make a Christmas photo of my pet for free?

Right here. New accounts get free credits, enough for a first Christmas pet photo: upload a photo of your pet above, pick a costume and press Create. After the free credits, one photo costs 3 credits, and the price is on the button before you confirm. Credits come with a subscription plan; the cheapest, Starter, is $9 a month. You can also pay once with no subscription: $0.99 for one image or $1.99 for three, and those credits stay valid for 12 months.

Which Christmas costumes can I choose?

Ten: Santa (selected by default), Elf, Reindeer, Ugly sweater, Snowman, Gingerbread, Christmas tree, Gift box, Angel and Nutcracker. Each one was tested on real runs before it went into the menu. They are original designs, so there are no licensed movie or cartoon characters.

Will it still look like my pet?

That is the main rule of this page: same species and breed, same face, eye color, ears, fur colors, coat pattern and markings, and the same size. The costume never covers the face. In all eleven test runs the pet stayed recognizable; if a detail looks off, run it again.

Which photo works best?

One dog or cat per photo, face clearly visible, ideally with the whole body in frame, as a JPG, PNG or WebP. Sitting, standing and lying poses all work. The result always shows exactly one animal and no people.

How is this different from the pet style on the AI Christmas Photo page?

That page has one pet look, a Santa hat and a scarf in a new scene by the tree. This page dresses your pet in one of ten full costumes and keeps your own room. To have your pet sit next to Santa instead, use Add Santa to Photo; both pages are linked below.

Do I own the image? Is there a watermark?

Yes, the image is yours to use, including commercially, subject to the source model terms. Downloads on the free plan carry a small Vidney watermark; on any paid plan they download clean.
